Working Advice

The pipe may break or splinter when cutting.

Plastic pipes are brittle at low temperatures. Cold plastic pipes break or splinter more easily.

Short or thin parts of plastic pipes may break during cutting.

If the pipe cannot be held securely, it is too short to cut.

Always cut the pipe at a right angle. Diagonal cuts are not possible and can damage the blade.

Clean the pipe before cutting. This increases the service life of the blade.

To reduce the risk of explosion, electric shock and material damage, never cut gas lines, electrical lines or filled water lines.

Empty the water lines before cutting.

The cut should be prepared and finished in accordance with the pipe manufacturer’s recommendations. Proper preparation and installation are the responsibility of the user.

Keep all body parts away from the cutting area of the power tool when it is in operation.

To reduce the risk of injury, always move the blade to the fully closed position before storing the power tool or while it is not in use.
