Maintenance and Cleaning
- Before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change etc.), remove the battery from the power tool. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
- To ensure safe and efficient operation, always keep the power tool and the ventilation slots clean.
If the blade needs to be replaced due to a defect or damage, follow the instructions and observe the associated figures A−B.
- Before carrying out any work on the power tool (e.g. maintenance, tool change etc.), remove the battery from the power tool. There is risk of injury from unintentionally pressing the on/off switch.
- The blades are sharp. Keep your hands away from the cutting edges. Failure to do so may result in cuts.

Wear protective gloves. You could injure yourself on the sharp blade
Note: The blade (1) must be in the open position. Recommended opening: 20 mm (reduced risk of injury).
- Loosen the two screws (13) on the service cover (14) using a Torx screwdriver (TX10). Remove the service cover (see figure A).
- Place the power tool on the other side.
- Use a hex key (4 mm) to remove the screw (9) with lock washer.
- Use a socket spanner (13 mm) to remove the nut (10).
- Remove the bolt (15).
- Remove the blade (1) and insert a new blade.
- Assemble all parts in reverse order (see figure B).
The tightening torque of the nut (10) must be between 2 and 2.4 Nm.
Note: If the blade (1) squeaks after being replaced, the nut (10) has been over-tightened. Note the tightening torque!
