Dust/Chip Extraction
Do not perform work without taking dust-reducing measures. Using a suitable dust extraction attachment will reduce exposure to harmful dust. Provide good ventilation at the workplace. Always use suitable breathing protection. Use a dust extraction system that is suitable for the material wherever possible. The regulations on the materials being machined that apply in the country of use must be observed.
- Avoid dust accumulation at the workplace. Dust can easily ignite.

Refer to the dust extractor’s instructions. If there is reduced suction power, stop working and eliminate the cause.
Connecting the Dust Extraction System (see figure A)
The dust extraction system is only designed for use with the sanding plate (14); it serves no purpose when used together with other accessories.
Always connect a dust extraction system for sanding.
Remove the accessory and the depth stop (10) for fitting the dust extraction system.
Slide the dust extraction system (13) as far as it will go over the accessory holder (8) onto the collar of the power tool. Push the clamping lever (16) shut to lock the dust extraction system.
Insert the extraction hose (19) of the dust extractor into the extraction outlets (17) of the dust extraction system (13) and allow it to engage.
Alternatively, the dust extraction adapter (18) can be inserted into the extraction outlet (17) of the dust extraction system and the extraction hose (19) can be inserted into the dust extraction adapter (18).
Connect the dust extraction hose (19) to a dust extractor (accessory).

The dust extractor must be suitable for the material being worked.
When extracting dry dust that is especially detrimental to health or carcinogenic, use a special dust extractor.
