Setting the Rod Antenna

The radio is supplied with a fitted rod antenna (6). For radio operation, point the rod antenna in the direction that enables the best reception.

If the reception is insufficient, position the radio at a different location that enables better reception.

When operating the radio in the direct vicinity of radio-communication equipment or radio transceivers, or other electronic equipment, the radio reception can be subject to interference.
