The cutting depth can be set using the button for cutting depth preselection (22).

GKS 18V-68 C

The cutting depth can be set using the lever for cutting depth preselection (23).

For a smaller cutting depth, pull the saw away from the base plate (13); for a larger cutting depth, push the saw towards the base plate (13). Set the required cutting depth on the scale (17).

We recommend that you place the power tool down on the front side of the protective guard (16).

Loosen the adjusting lever for mitre/bevel angle preselection (5) and the wing bolt (15). Swivel the saw to the side. Set the required mitre angle on the scale (7). Retighten the adjusting lever (5) and the wing bolt (15).

Note: When making mitre cuts, the cutting depth is less than the value shown on the cutting depth scale (17).

GKS 18V-68 C

Loosen the adjusting lever for mitre/bevel angle preselection (5). Swivel the saw to the side. Set the required mitre/bevel angle on the scale (7). Screw the adjusting lever (5) back on again.

Note: When making mitre cuts, the cutting depth is less than the value shown on the cutting depth scale (17).

The 0° cut mark (8) indicates the position of the saw blade when making a right-angled cut. The 45° cut mark (9) indicates the position of the saw blade when making a 45° cut.

For a precise cut, place the circular saw against the workpiece as shown in the figure. We recommend making a test cut.

When using the FSN guide rail system, the power tool can stay in the holder for the guide rail when making mitre cuts.

Use only cut marks (8) when making a right-angled cut and a 45º cut with the guide rail.
