Extremely high power at minimum size: The World's most compact cordless impact-driver fits in any jacket pocket

  • Small dimensions (Length / Height 160 x 170 mm) and weighs only one kilogram
  • High torque and high screw-driving speed

The world's most compact cordless impact-driver: the new GDR 10.8 V-LI Professional from Bosch, the leader in lithium-ion power-tool technology.

With its small dimensions (Length / Height 160 x 170 mm) the GDR 10.8 V-LI Professional will fit in any tradesman's jacket pocket and weighs only one kilogram. Despite its small size and low weight It has a maximum torque of 100 Newtonmeters, a no-load speed of 1800 revolutions per minute and an impact rate of 3000 per minute. This means that it has a very big "punch" and can perform about 80 percent of all work tasks considered appropriate for impact-drivers.

The application of this tool, which is ideal for many trades, is work with small to medium-sized screws with threads of up to M12, as well as screw-driving in pre-drilled concrete with metal screws. When drilling or screw-driving in wood, the GDR 10.8V-LI – with its faster revolutions than ordinary cordless screwdrivers – has a speed advantage, particularly when working with small diameter fixings. Due to the tool's high-performance impact-mechanism there is no kick-back, thus ensuring that the user's health is more effectively protected during work. Its integrated luminous ring at the nose of the tool has three bright LEDs that make it easier to work in dark areas such as inside cupboards or ducting. The soft-grip covering ensures a firm hold.

Innovative lithium-ion batteries from Bosch have a lifetime of up to four times longer than comparable batteries from other manufacturers. This is thanks to special technology from Bosch, specifically "Electronic Cell Protection (ECP)", which protects the battery against overload, overheating and total discharge; optimized heat management prevents damage from excessive heating of the batteries. What's more, Bosch batteries are so robust that they remain fully functional, even after being dropped from a height of two meters.
