The new cordless saws GKS 36 V-LI Professional and GSA 36 V-LI Professional from Bosch offer significantly higher power than comparable cordless tools with NiCd or NiMH battery. Thanks to their 36V lithium-ion batteries, they far outperform conventional saws with a 24V battery: both the cutting speed and the number of saw cuts per battery charge are around 30 percent higher – although the weight is roughly the same. The Bosch saws also attain peak values compared with the most powerful cordless saws featuring lithium-ion technology. The saws have handy features such as the handle with soft-grip and the foldout hook for easy storage of the saws on building sites. The GKS 36 V-LI Professional and GSA 36 V-LI Professional are ideal for professionals who appreciate high mobility and require the performance of mains-powered tools.
With these tools, Bosch offers professionals in woodworking trades the advantages of lithium-ion technology: high power at low weight, low self-discharge, no memory effect (the battery can be recharged, irrespective of the charge state, without any effects on the usable battery capacity) and the full battery power is available throughout the entire discharge cycle. The last cuts are therefore just as powerful as the first ones. Thanks to ECP (electronic cell protection) and the special heat management system, lithium-ion batteries from Bosch are also far superior to comparable batteries in terms of their lifetime.
Four LEDs show the charge state at all times when working and during charging of the 36V batteries from Bosch. The red LED shows that the battery is too hot or too cold to work. Thanks to "TurboCharge" technology, 75% of the energy is stored after just half of the charge time. This is usually sufficient to complete the rest of a day's work.
The Handheld Circular Saw GKS 36 V-LI Professional with 165 millimeter saw blade and a cutting depth of 54 millimeters is specially designed for the hard demands of skilled construction site workers such as carpenters, masons or roofers, but also for exhibition fitters. The cordless saw also provides a good view of the saw blade and scribe line. Thanks to the aluminum protective guard and the die-cast aluminum sole plate, the new 36V cordless saw only weighs as much as conventional cordless circular saws with nickel batteries.
The Saber Saw GSA 36 V-LI Professional with a stroke length of 28 millimeters and a maximum cutting length of 250 millimeters is ideal for electricians, gas fitters, plumbers, window fitters, carpenters and other skilled construction site workers. The stroke length selector switch makes the saw ideal for cutting wood and metal. The accelerator switch permits careful pilot sawing. Thanks to the new SDS saw blade holder, the saw blades can be quickly replaced in just one movement.
