NEW!

New jigsaw blades “Extra Clean for Wood” and “Extra Clean for Hard Wood”

  • Optimum cutting action due to integrated pre-cutting function
  • No need for marking and cutting from below
  • Incorrect markings and wrong cuts are avoided

Bosch is adding two world firsts to its jigsaw blade range: in addition to the two blades "Extra Clean for Wood" and "Extra Clean for Hard Wood" for tear-free straight cuts, which have been available at retail outlets since 2008, Bosch is now offering two blades of the same type for curved cuts. The new "Extra Clean for Wood" T308 BO saw blade is suitable for soft woods and non-abrasive woodworking materials; the "Extra Clean for Hard Wood" T308 BOF blade is ideal for hard woods and abrasive woodworking materials. Both new blades provide particularly clean, tear-free cuts on both sides of the workpiece when performing curved cuts. Together with the blades that are already available for straight cuts, they now offer the user a perfect solution for both applications, ensuring that he always makes clean cuts, whether straight or curved.

There is no need to mark and cut the workpiece from below with the Extra Clean saw blades. Incorrect markings and wrong cuts are avoided, which saves time and money. Another advantage is that typical finishing tasks, such as cleaning up the cut edges with sanding paper, are either no longer necessary or reduced to a minimum. These properties of the Bosch saw blades make it easier to adapt shelving and to cut exposed moldings or facing panels, e.g. in kitchen fitting. The Extra Clean for Wood saw blade is made of HCS steel, the Extra Clean for Hard Wood saw blade is made of bi-metal.

Due to their special tooth strip, the new saw blades achieve optimum cut quality when sawing without a pendulum action. Two different rows of teeth arranged at different angles provide a pre-cutting effect. Precision-ground "pointed teeth" with optimized relief and hook angles draw-cut the wood fibers on the upper side of the workpiece. Razor-sharp, cross ground "scalpel teeth" cut through the wood fibers like a scalpel on the material reverse side. The special arrangement of the teeth also optimizes the removal and ejection of sawing chips.
