For precise, clean cuts in metal: new “Construct Metal” circular saw blades from Bosch

  • Ideal saw blades for hand dry cutters and mitre dry cutters
  • No flying sparks when sawing, no deterioration of the blade diameter

The new “Construct Metal” circular saw blades from Bosch are ideal for powerful, precise and clean cuts in structural steel and non-ferrous metals. They are suitable for cutting steel profiles, pipes, angle iron, metal and plastic ducts. The product range comprises ten types with diameters between 160 and 355 millimetres and different numbers of teeth. It is designed for the work performed by professional users of conventional hand dry cutters or mitre dry cutters, such as skilled construction site workers, plumbers or fitters. The new circular saw blades offer considerable advantages over the cutting discs that were often used until now: no sparks fly during work and the usable saw blade diameter does not deteriorate.

The hardened base blade of the new circular saw blades is made of sturdy, high-quality steel. The saw blades are equipped with alternately arranged, tungsten-carbide trapezoidal and flat teeth with a neutral hook angle (0 degrees) for use in hand dry cutters; saw blades for mitre dry cutters have flat teeth with alternating chamfer and also a neutral hook angle. These are the best conditions for ensuring clean, tear-free cuts, which eliminate the need for reworking. Laser-cut slots in the saw blade reduce resonance, noise and vibration and also improve the cut quality. The small tooth spacings with 60 teeth on hand dry cutter blades or 80 teeth on blades for mitre dry cutters ensure particularly fine cuts.
